Katy Stake Day of Service

In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Church Welfare Plan, the First Presidency invited all members worldwide to render service. We were excited in our small way to be included in such a wonderful event.

We went to the KISD Outdoor Learning Center and trimmed bushes and trees and stacked them into big piles to be hauled away. Travis cut, Jared hauled branches, Megan babysat Kate, and I bounced back and forth. We didn't last very long before the kids got tired, but I'm glad we made it out to help.
